Antique Georgian French Cut Steel Queen Anne Brooch

 
This rare French antique Georgian sterling silver brooch dates to the end of the 18th century.
Adorned with two turquoise blue glass panels encrusted with cut steel studs and flowers, in Queen Anne style.  Flowers were a popular theme in Georgian jewellery and the multiple facets of the steel studs are homage to the age and quality of this piece.  A versatile brooch, it also has attachments to enable it to be worn as a watch fob, a slide and a necklace.  Measuring 1 5/8" by 1 1/2".  Very good condition
