Antique Art Nouveau Enamel Virgin Mary Necklace

 
Fine antique Art Nouveau necklace, comprising 14ct gold and enamel Virgin Mary religious pendant, painted on copper and embellished with a small natural pearl drop.  The quality and condition of the painting is superb and the colours are vibrant.  The Virgin is painted in fine detail standing on a heavenly cloud surrounded by five angelic winged cherubs.  It is difficult to be certain, but there may be a faded signature partially hidden from view at the bottom of the painting.  The pendant is probably continental and is married to a vintage 9ct gold chain.  Measuring 1 3/4" in length, by 3/4" in width it has an indecipherible marking on the bale and tests for 14ct gold.
The chain, which is 18" in length, is stamped 375, for 9ct gold, in two places and the necklace is in very good condition.
