Fine antique Victorian portrait miniature lace pin brooch of a beautiful young lady, probably French.
This very small painting sits within a 12ct gold and silver border that is encrusted with tiny rose cut diamonds. The pin is slightly elongated as is consistent with the period.
The number 846 is to the reverse and probably relates to the maker. A sweet and elegant little pin, measuring 20x15mms and in very good condition.
This brooch would make a fabulous ring conversion.
